Using radiofrequency, BodyTite removes fat pockets at the same time as visibly tightening sagging or loose skin. It can be used on the face and body.
BodyTite: Am I suitable?
Suitable for patients with loose skin and/or stretch marks along with stubborn fat deposits can benefit from the treatment as it combines fat removal with firming and tightening.
BodyTite: What do I have to do to prepare?
There is no preparation needed but it is good to be as close to your target weight as possible.
BodyTite: What’s the treatment like?
A tiny incision is made in the skin through which the probe is inserted which delivers radiofrequency energy to burn fat. The fat cells then rupture and the liquefied fat is removed using a power-assisted liposuction device. As the fat is liquefied it is easier to remove.
BodyTite: What about after?
As BodyTite is performed under local anaesthetic and is minimally invasive, there is little downtime and normal activities can be resumed shortly afterwards. Results can be seen immediately, with best results noticeable at six to twelve weeks following treatment.
BodyTite: Are there any risks or side effects?
There is less trauma to the surrounding tissue than there is in traditional liposuction so there is much less bruising, swelling and discomfort. The BodyTite machine also contains a number of safety features.
BodyTite: What will it cost me?
One treatment should be sufficient and costs from £2,500 to £5,000 depending on how many areas are being treated.
