Oralift is a totally non-invasive treatment – using neither knives nor needles – that aims to provide a full facial rejuvenation.
Oralift: Am I suitable?
Oralift can help relieve migraines and facial pains, lift the eye area, rejuvenate the skin, enhance the lips, lessen enlarged pores, alter facial shape, including slimming the lower face.
Oralift: What do I have to do to prepare?
There is no preparation necessary for this treatment but a consultation is important to ascertain whether the Oralift can provide the results you want. If you decide to go ahead, the practitioner will make a detailed assessment, including taking photographs from differing angles to study the shape of your face, condition of the skin, mouth, teeth and jaw joint.
Oralift: What’s the treatment like?
It's a tailor made device that fits over your lower back teeth. Wearing the Oralift for prescribed amounts of time, it works by creating a larger space between the upper and lower teeth and the muscles have to adapt to a new position. The muscles then become more toned and trigger the body’s natural healing process.
Oralift: What about after?
As with any form of exercise, it is important to start gradually. Some patients have noticed improvements after wearing the device for only one hour a day. In general, patients wear Oralift for one hour twice daily every third day. The regime is usually for two months twice a year.
Oralift: Are there any risks or side effects?
There are minimal side effects, but it is important to remember that, as with any exercise regime, over use of the Oralift appliance can lead to over stressing of the facial muscles.
Oralift: What will it cost me?
Oralift costs from £575.
