Hyaluronic acid-based injectables are rightly the market leaders in the field of temporary dermal fillers as they give great, predictable results with few side effects. However, the demand is always for longer-lasting results with even less downtime. This is where Stylage from Vivacy comes in.

Due to the addition of Mannitol, a naturally occurring antioxidant, the free radicals that are always released when an injection is performed are neutralised which improves the performance of the hyaluronic acid and also lessens the swelling that the free radicals cause.

Furthermore, Stylage's patented manufacturing process means less degradation which in turn means longer-lasting results.

Stylage: What's the treatment like?

Stylage S Lido
Stylage S is an injectable implant indicated for filling superficial and average wrinkles, such as the crow's feet or the frown lines between the eyebrows. It can also fill fine cheek wrinkles or the lines around the mouth known as perioral wrinkles.

Another indication for Stylage S Lido is treat dark circles or eye hollows under the eye. This is often called tear trough rejuvenation and can be a tricky area to treat.

Stylage M Lido
Stylage M is an injectable implant indicated for moderate to severe nasolabial folds, smoothing of wrinkled areas and sagging folds on the face, marionette lines, hollow temple area.

It can also be used as a temporary non-surgical nose reshaping – either to reduce the nasal hump or lift the nasal tip – or to reshape the earlobe.

Stylage L Lido
Stylage L is used to deep to very deep wrinkles, severe nasolabial folds or marionette lines. It can also be used for volume loss treatment on the back of the hands.

Stylage XL Lido
Stylage XL Lido is the highest volumising formulation of Stylage. It is used for treatment of facial volume defects, restoration of facial contours, particularly in the mid-face. It can also be used to treat slight ptosis (droop).

Stylage: What about after?

There is minimal swelling and downtime after Stylage treatments. They also use smaller needles than comparative fillers therefore less pain and trauma to the injection site. A local anaesthetic called lidocaine has also been added to improve patient comfort.

Results for Stylage typically last 12 to 18 months whereas other temporary hyaluronic acid dermal fillers on the market last about nine months on average.
